Wardrobes for Fitted Bedrooms
Fitted bedroom wardrobes are not only the ultimate in style when it comes to your room, they also save lots of space, so getting such a bedroom fitted is always going to be a wise decision. And the increasing popularity of fitted bedrooms means that the styles and designs available today are huge. The beauty of having a fitted bedroom installed is that it is just as ideal for a small bedroom as it is for a larger one, so whether it’s a single bed room or a double one, you can be sure that fitted is the way to go.
Among the many benefits of having such a bedroom is the fact that it keeps everything in a semblance of order, meaning you don’t have to worry about such things as where the bed will ultimately go or where that wardrobe will be placed. As everything is meticulously planned beforehand, once the furniture has been fitted you have nothing to worry about anymore. Even the customary “rearranging the room” will be a thing of the past. Not to mention the fact that you will then be able to keep the bedroom tidier more easily than before.
As we mentioned before, probably the biggest factor for getting a fitted bedroom is to save on space and one of the main features of the bedroom would be the fitted wardrobe. There are different types of fitted wardrobe available today but the one you would ultimately choose would depend on your own tastes and preferences.
These three types of built-in or fitted wardrobe are the frame construction wardrobe, the full carcase wardrobe and the sliding door wardrobe. Carcase wardrobes are probably the easiest to integrate into a bedroom and conversely the easiest to dismantle for whatever reason. They are typically simple in design and convenience when compared to the other two types. Usually carcase wardrobes are installed into spaces that have no obstacles such as a chimney breast, for example, and they will not work with rooms that have a sloped ceiling.
Frame construction wardrobes are the ones you can turn to for versatility as the not only give maximum storage space but they also can be used in rooms that have sloping ceilings. Some of the available designs cover obstacles and you can also choose the depth of the wardrobe. These wardrobes have no backing panels though, so the wall behind may have to be prepared beforehand and it may be prudent to point out that frame construction wardrobes are actually quite difficult to get installed.
Sliding door wardrobes are designed for great space utility and maximum ease of use. They are easy to install, easy to manage and are ideal for even the smallest bedrooms. More often than not, the doors of a sliding wardrobe are fully fitted with mirrors, which then have the added advantage of giving the room a larger appearance. These wardrobes are also cheaper than the other two options.
